Responsibilities

• Drive the onboarding applications to the Cloud Native Stack within Markets Technology
• Facilitate the integration of the teams with shared platforms, including Observability and Testing frameworks
• Be a driver for standardization and sutomation
• Help cultivate a strong engineering culture within your team
• Leverage your expertise in engineering practices and processes, particularly in managing critical global business systems
• Collaborate with a diverse team to shape the future Software Solutions strategy for the Markets division
• Assist in the maintenance and support of common platforms

Requirements

• Solid CI/CD experience (Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab, Octopus Deploy, Maven)
• Development background in Java, .NET, Scala or Python
• Deep architectural experience, and ability to elicit NFRs and document system designs
• Experience with Azure Application Platform, especially AKS
• Experience with Kubernetes deployments, distributed architectures, and low latency systems
• Good understanding of communication stacks (RabbitMQ, Kafka, gRPC, web sockets)
• Good knowledge of observability tools (Grafana, Elasticsearch, Fluent-Bit, OpenTelemetry)
• Good scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell)
• Ability to work on both Linux and Windows infrastructure

Nice to have

• Experience and proficiency in architecting and writing code for microservices and distributed applications
• Operators, helm chart creation and maintenance
• Good understanding of security topics such as Oauth 2.0, TLS, and vulnerability scanning
