Responsibilities

• Coordinate business use cases on the central Big Data platform
• Provide insights and recommendations for enhancing and evolving the platform
• Technical coordination with the business side to translate business requirements into technical implementations
• Ensure consistency and accuracy among different data sets
• Guide and drive source system data onboarding and data implementation including testing of newly sourced datasets

 

Requirements

• Several years of experience in data-oriented projects in the financial industry
• Experience in regulatory projects in the financial industry and in transaction monitoring exposure
• Thorough understanding of Data Requirements´ analysis on object/attribute level and metadata management
• Experience in data integration using distributed Big Data platforms
• Experience in data Engineering (ETL processes, data modelling and data analytics)
• Working knowledge of Kafka streaming, Python scripting and SQL
• Agile project experience
• Fluent in English

Nice to have

• Experience in data ingestion using Apache tools
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience with MongoDB, Hive, Impala, Hue or similar modern tools
• Certificates in cloud or big data technologies
• German language skills
